I purchased a New Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid in the middle of May when I brought my Hyundai Tucson in for service (which I was thrilled with). I spoke to Michelle about what I was looking for what I had to place down and the terms I wanted. I really wanted a 60 month did not fit in my budget so went to 72 months which I was fine with. When I got into Finance it went to 7 months at that point to late to turn back 2nd mistake. 1st mistake I was told to come back at 4pm and car would be ready and that I would sign then. I waited in the car repair waiting room for 45mins waiting on Michelle trying to complete another sale with a couple and she stated to me She was sorry she did not know I was there. 1st Mistake. When I checked the car out, I saw a dent and chip on the driver's side and usually would not take the vehicle if not in pristine condition. but was told by Michelle I will put a request into service to take care over 3 months no phone call I WANT THIS TAKEN CRE OF IMMEDITELY! 3rd Mistake. No follow up how is your car are you enjoying nothing cricket's 4th mistake. This is not what I expect from Gettel. Ryan had given me your email address. He said he was going to speak to Michelle also I never heard anything since him and I spoke on July 11th. He stated that it showed in my records that Michelle tried to call I went to my phone records and received nothing from Gettel the last 2 weeks of July. I will not recommend nor ever purchase a car from any Gettel again. I have also reached out to Hyundai USA. It seems since your big remodel standards are lacking.

The excitement of a new purchase tends to wear off over time, and I think that leads to a much more honest review It's coming up on three months of ownership with my 2026 Elantra N, and I have to say my very first interactions with this dealership was not great, quite frankly it was terrible. I had two salespeople who assured me on two separate occasions they'd follow up and help with my purchase, but unbeknownst to me, they had both left the company. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything in place to let me know or continue the communication, so I was left feeling completely forgotten. After some time, I decided to call back and was put in contact with Howard. From that point on, the experience completely turned around. Howard has honestly been one of the best salesmen I've ever dealt with. Between him, the finance manager, and the warranty team, everyone went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I felt taken care of. We're both extremely happy with the car and, in the end, very happy with the purchasing experience. I can absolutely recommend this dealership, and I especially recommend asking for Howard Finkelstein if you're in the market for a vehicle. To be fair, I haven't had any experience with the service department yet, so I'll reserve judgment there. I have seen some of the other reviews and am a little cautious about what that experience may be like, but if it's anything like the way Howard and the rest of the team treated us, I'm feeling much more optimistic. I have purchased three cars through Martha at Hyundai of Lakewood Ranch, and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. She is always honest, professional, knowledgeable, and truly puts her customers first.
